    Hi Wockets,
My name is Daren and I work for an educational software and equipment development company called LJ Create.

I heard about the Wocket Blog Spot on Twitter and popped over to say hello.

We are based in Norfolk, England. The other side of the world to you. I live near the sea and it is our summer at the moment, so it is nice and sunny and it is great to walk along the sandy beaches. I was in New Zealand in December on holiday, so I have also seen your summer and walked along some of your beaches.

We also have offices in Georgia and New York in America.

I am very impressed with the Wocket Spot Blog. Keep up the good work.

    Best wishes,

    Daren
    LJ Create.

    Hi Wockets,

I am a teacher in the UK and I am also the Volunteer Director of the Zimbabwe Teachers Network, a non-profit organisation aimed at reviving teaching and learning after a decade of economic decay in Zimbabwe.

I loved you blog and is very pupil friendly! Maybe in the near future we could link you to some of the schools in Zimbabwe? I think it would be fantastic to know about how teaching and learning in other cultures is done.

Hi Wockets! I love your blog and I plan to put a link on our class blog here in Kaipara Flats so we can keep up with your activities.
Why are you called Wockets? I had a quick look but couldn’t work it out.

    Thanks Tina,
At our school we name our classes at the beginning of the year. We began our year learning about Respect through the messages in the Dr Seuss books. One of our favourite books was ‘There’s a Wocket in my Pocket’. So we decided to call ourselves The Wockets!

Kia ora Wockets…. Hope you are all well… I just love your blog… It shows so much of your learning and I have enjoyed reading it all. Your blog has been an inspiration to me in terms of sorting my class one out, so thanx for that… Will see you soon. :)

Kia Ora Marama and the Wockets!

I teach Year 3&4 down in Kapiti at Raumati Beach School. I think your class sounds like so much fun that I’m coming to visit you next term to see what you get up to in class.

I like your blog and am getting lots of good ideas for my class blog next year. I really like the way you named your class.
